Fun Times in the Cities
A couple of weeks ago I had the chance to go to a MN Lynx game(and for those of you who don't know thats the MN WNBA team). I won these tickets at the state fair and my older brother offered to go to the game with me. The game was a blast and I was super surprised at how many people don't go to those games. Common' people womens basketball is totally getting gypped. Anyways I'm not really gonna talk about the game just the fun times after. So after the lynx game my brother and I started heading home. But neither of us new how to get out of the cities we were completely lost. After about 10 min. of random driving around with crazy people from the cities we decided to plug our home address into our navigation system. That didn't really seem to work though. We were both like sweet now we can just find the road and get home... OR NOT. The navigation system had us literally driving around on random streets, and we were both pretty sure we were going in circles (some what). It was Pretty Hilarious we started out in Minneapolis, then went to Eagon, then St. Paul, then Bloomington, then to a bunch more random towns. It was insane. This is crazy all we were tring to do was find an on ramp to I-35. We saw the road about a million times but there was no way to get on it. Really we got really sick of it after about an hour. My brother was swearing up the wall at our car and was about to smash it into a brick wall. This wasn't even fair because it was a school night. We were both beat and after about an hour and a half- not even exaggerating we finally found an on-ramp to head home. We were both so beat when we finally got home at about 12:30. It was fun while it lasted, but fun times just don't last forever:)

When I was your age, Emily, my parents wouldn't even let me drive in the Twin Cities, but I think they knew what they were doing because years later when I did drive around in the cities, and even to this day I get lost and turned around and confused and all out of whack. I am normally pretty even tempered, but being lost makes me lose my cool. I don't get road rage or anything, but sometimes I start punching the ceiling of my car. Unfortunately, all the good that does me is give me a sore hand with which to guide the steering wheel.
Good blog. I enjoy your storytelling style. You touch on topics through the use of great personal anecdotes. Keep it up.
