The Beloved Rumor Vine

One thing that really seems to bother me is when people talk about other people behind their back. Everyone is guilty of it so don't you dare try to get out of this one. I'm not saying I don't do this because I do, everyone does. I just think everyone needs to get better about trying not to do this. It is so rude and we never realize it because it seems to come naturally to us, sadly. Some things we talk about can be good about a person but most times not. Today's society just wants to slam each other and see who can come up with the most. Like a huge life long competition. Half the time when we do this we don't even realize were talking about someone. You really have to think hard about what you are talking about. The other day one of my friends was telling me about how some people from my softball team in particular were talking about me on the bench. It wasn't good stuff either. What is the point of this just because you are mad at someone or whatever is going on doesn't mean you have to slam them. When i heard about this it made me super pissed off.. oh man I was not in a good mood I probably could have killed someone with my death glare. When we talk about people we don't even seem to care how they might feel. Because everyone knows that eventually they are going to find out what you said about them. It never seems to fail. When you hear things that people say about you, it's terrible. Sometimes you feel like crap inside, other times you feel like hurting that person, and sometimes you just want to cry. I just think everyone needs to be more considerate in today's society. Think about what you talk about and try, try your hardest not to talk about people behind their back. Good or bad just don't bother. If you have something to say then just say it to their face. If it's good it might make their day. If it happens to be rude and nasty, run fast but at least they didn't have to hear it through the rumor vine.
