My Faith

Evolution is such a touchy topic. When it was the first thing that came up in biology this year it made me quite skeptical about the class. I don't really believe in evolution. I'm a christian and believe that God created the earth. I don't care what anyone else thinks, but thats what I believe. I don't see how people can't believe in God though. If you just read through the bible there is so much evidence everywhere about him coming to earth and rising again, the Christmas story, everything. I strongly believe in this and if anyone wants to talk about it with me I'm open. I may not seem like it but I'm a pretty hard core Christian. Attending church for Sunday school morning and evening services as well as Wednesday night. It has always been kind of hard for me to share a lot though because I'm a baptist and mostly everyone else in this community is either Lutheran or Catholic. I also always feel left out cause I don't go to the E-Free church here in town and thats where everyone else seems to go. I would like to share my testimony with anyone who is willing to keep reading this blog.

I was saved when I was 6. It was summer time because my older two brothers were both at bible camp. My other brother Tim and I were sitting in my parents bedroom doing devotions. Then my dad asked both of us if we knew where we would be going when we die. We said no, so my dad started sharing some bible verses with us and we ended up getting saved that night. That is probably the best night of my life. I would just like to reach out to everyone who is reading this right now. Where are you going when you die? Do you know for sure? If not I would love to talk to you and lead you to Christ. Also if you say well of course I'm going to heaven...think about it, are you really. Good works aren't what get you their. It's the excepting of God and opening and inviting Christ into your heart. I really hope with all my heart that if you are reading this you will consider these things and if you want to talk about it with me, I will be here for you, ready!
